When people ask me to explain what makes The Scholars' Academy a special school to recieve an education, I tell them to think about the name of the school. The name, "The Scholars' Academy" means that it is the scholars' school. Each student is actively involved in their education. The school is created for their needs. They are thought of as scholars because they are expected to be here for one purpose, to learn.
I have been the only principal of this school, and every teacher at this school I have hired because they are great at their position and they truly care about each student currently in their classroom as well as the students that have graduated from our school.
I am entering my twentieth year as an educator in this community. I am as committed today as I was the first day I began teaching here. I have had the pleasure of watching many of my students from the first day of kindergarten through graduating from a four year university.
Parents and students alike, I assure you that I will do my best to make sure you or your child will have the best educational experience possible.
Math Classes
As well as 7th and 8th grade math, we offer algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and pre-calculus. Within these courses, I integrated real world math applications and consumer education.
Technology, hands-on learning, and being responsible for daily assignments are part of my class. As the school year begins, I will be posting any homework assignments for the individual classes and times for tutoring.
To parents, I understand that many may have difficulty helping students with the advanced math concepts. Make sure they are completing the assignments on time, and if questions arise, they is always help after school and on Fridays.
Keep checking this site daily, when school is in session.
